THE
GREAT ARTISTIC ALLIANCE ART MARKETING GROUP
I am leading a group of artists who have come together to specifically help each other to continue, or to launch their careers. Art marketing is our focus, and this will lead up to an exhibition at the Chapel Gallery, a 100 year old historical landmark gallery in Old Louisville.
Currently the
group is focused on learning all aspects of marketing for the
group exhibition: press releases, designing an invitation,
developing an artist statement, business cards, creating effective
mailing lists, advertising, installing the show, finding sponsors
for awards, photographing work, etc.
In this group
we have a contemporary art quilter, graphic artist, photographer,
jewelers, folk art, painters, batik artist, stain glass and metal
artists. We meet the second Wednesday of the month, mostly at the
Chapel Gallery or we may be on a field trip to someone's studio
having fun!
The cost is
only $10 a month, I would love to have you join us. We are not a
juried group, young new artists are welcome!
