A
native of Louisville, KY, Ann Adamek began painting watercolors in 1989.
A Marriage and Family
Therapist by profession, Ann considers her painting to be her therapy.
Although she has had no formal training in art, she has attended numerous
classes and workshops taught by nationally recognized instructors.
As a result of having three of her paintings accepted in Aqueous, a
national juried exhibition sponsored by the Kentucky Watercolor
Society, Ann has achieved the status of Signature Member of the Kentucky
Watercolor Society. She has won
awards in local and regional juried watercolor exhibits.
Ann is an Exhibiting Member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and
Craftsmen, and Artist Member of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft.
Her work is exhibited at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea in Berea,
Kentucky, and at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft in Louisville, Kentucky.
Ann's paintings have been on exhibit at the Corner Cafe, Louisville,
Kentucky since 1991.
